I understand the nerves, I've helped countless people learn how to become more comfortable in front of the camera. I've also spent the last decade helping nervous brides and grooms relax and be themselves to capture beautiful wedding photographs.

Planning Meeting
Before the photoshoot, we'll meet virtually to discuss your vision, the deliverables, and the logistics. This is a great time to talk about how many people, locations, outfit changes, and intended uses you'd like from the shoot.
At the Photo Shoot
Whether it's a half-day full-day, or multi-day shoot, I'll have included some time for setup, and we will run through our schedule.
What you Receive
Once the edit is completed, you'll receive a download link containing all of your images as high quality jpeg files, ready to go on your intranet or into a shared folder.
When will we receive the images?
In the pre-shoot planning meeting, we’ll discuss when you’ll need your photographs by. Usually my edit turnaround is quite fast depending on the size of the photoshoot and the amount of images.
Do you edit the photographs?
Yes, I provide a basic edit for quality and consistency, whilst also removing anything that would affect the final image. I don’t retouch or alter physical appearance unless it is specifically requested.
How do we receive the images?
Once the photographs are ready, I’ll send you a download link where you can download all of the photographs.
What locations do you work?
I’m based in Cowbridge (Cardiff area), but travel all over Wales and the UK.
What if it rains on the shoot day?
Leading up to your photoshoot, I’ll be checking the weather forecast and if there is a high chance of rain, and your photoshoot is outside, I will discuss rescheduling if possible. If a reschedule isn’t possible, I work with you to either create a flexible schedule where we can use the dry parts of the day for the outdoor photoshoot, or we relocate and find great locations inside. For photoshoots, I usually have a full lighting kit ready to go if needed.
What precautions do you take for things going wrong?
In a previous career, I briefly trained in disaster management, and that set the precedent for ensuring that I am always prepared for the worst. I always carry backup equipment, have extra storage media, backup all files in multiple locations, and also have a list of trusted photographers and camera operators should the worst happen.
Do you charge for travel?
I charge 45p per mile for travel from Cowbridge, this is included in the price. For shoots further than 2 hours drive from Cowbridge/Cardiff area, I may require accommodation and other related expenses if the distance is much further.
Do you work alone or as part of a team?
It depends on the shoot. For most headshot, portrait, or product shoots, I work alone. For larger events, video production shoots, or aerial operations, I work with a few trusted photographers and camera operators.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, Private Indemnity and Public Liability.
What is your approach/style?
My role is simple, capture what happens, when it happens, how it happens. I do this by blending into the background for the candid shots, but also not being afraid to get into the action to capture the great moments that reflect the spirit of the event or project.
